The science behind Skin Diligent

We began as a research laboratory. The products came later, and that order explains almost everything about the way we work.

Our subject is epigenetics, which is the study of how genes are read rather than what genes say. The same set of genes can be read one way or another, depending on what surrounds a cell. Food, light, sleep, stress and the things we put on our skin all take part in that conversation.

It is the science that connects biology, environment and time. Which makes it, in the fullest sense, the science of living well.
